“I’ve always wanted to inspire the world somehow with my craft” -Sandtereia Robinson

  • Creative expression can take many forms, what made you decide to become a singer/songwriter, model, and entrepreneur?

What made me become a singer/songwriter, model, and entrepreneur was the fact that at a very young age my parents discovered that I could sing, and when I became of age, I was able to experience having my first few chances as a soloist which allowed me to find the gift within myself. I also wanted to become wealthy to provide for my family, the community, and myself.

  • How do you balance your time in the studio with other commitments such as a part-time job, family, or admin?

To balance my time between studio life, regular life, as well as work, I decided to work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so Monday through Thursday I devote my time to my career whether I’m going to the studio doing personal work on myself or anything else that may involve family.

  • What is the biggest challenge of being an artist?

The biggest challenge for me as an artist is knowing how to market myself sometimes or taking certain risks.

  • How would you describe your personal style, where do you pull your inspiration from?

Honestly, I don’t have a particular style. I'm very, very, versatile. I like to dress up sometimes with heels, I like to dress casually, as well as in urban looks and boutique attire like your two-piece outfits, sexy apparel, and more.

  • Does art help you in other areas of your life?

Art helps me tremendously throughout all aspects of life. I consider myself to be more than an artist dealing with music, fashion design, styling, singing/songwriting, etc. Art is a way for me to express myself for who I truly am.

  • Who is your target audience, how do you create content that aligns with what they're looking for?

I don’t really have a target audience. I tend to be as free as possible not to subject myself to one label dealing with music, fashion design/styling, etc. I want to create a field that is suitable for all ages and varieties of people.

  • What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

My strengths fortunately would be that I am very creative, persistent, and strong-willed when it comes to everything that I do. My weakness would be when I’m going through trying times temporarily losing motivation but I always find a way to maneuver.

  • You’ve commanded a sterling reputation in your time and developed a loyal band of followers that love your work. How does that feel?

To have followers that truly support me and let me know that I inspire them sometimes and they genuinely support my work is a very surreal feeling never in 1 million years would I have thought that this would be coming from me however I know that I must still grow and there’s so much more to overcome in order to truly get to where I want to be.
