The We Art Corporation is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to assisting the next generation of youth fashion and beauty leaders aged 16-25. This NPO was founded by Jaiko Magazine in 2019, with the mission to educate students on the reality of the fashion and beauty industries.

The We Art Panel is a career discussion panel that features leaders from the fashion and beauty industries discussing their career paths. The panel's mission is to guide and encourage the youth before they enter the career path of their choice to avoid common mistakes and educate them on the reality of each industry. We Art Talks is a subsidiary of the We Art Panel featuring deeper conversations with fashion and beauty professionals.

The We Art Honorary group acknowledges businesses and business owners for their achievements. The board members of WeArtCo. award public figures with a We Art Honorary certificate based on their impact on the community, the quality of their brand and business, and seasonal accomplishments within the fashion and beauty industries. Each year 4 public figures are selected.

In addition, the We Art Corporation hosts fundraiser events and community give-backs.

Our Purpose:

To provide one $1,000 scholarship each year in August to financially assist a student through school and/or their business. #WeArtScholar

Mastering Your Craft with Imani Brown

Fearless, Faithful, and Fascinating are three words to describe supermodel Imani Brown. The Casspolis, Michigan native has craved into the creative industry and is paving the way for young and mature generations. For the past 5.5 years, she has stayed constant in her craft and managed to stay booked and busy working with some of the creative industry greats like photographers Chad Lawson, and Shawn Hanna, professional makeup artist DeMarco Ward, and has participated in multiple brand campaigns for companies like GSUWOO, Adidas and Mielle Organics. Outside of creating Imani focuses on fitness and is a 1/3 host on The Model Corner Podcast alongside co-host, fashion model, and creative director Ayreana B. and model and actress Ashley India. Imani is currently working between Atlanta, GA, and Los Angeles, CA as a full-time creative.

Fari Studios was established in the Summer of 2018 by visionary Symphony Fari. Symphony crafted her brand to let others know that clothes are meant for expression. Clothing is gender-less and fashion is an art medium.

Fari Studios contributes to the fashion industry by empowering others to create unapologetically in the world of fashion. As a designer and creative director, Symphony believes in the patience of art. This isn’t your ordinary ready-to-wear fashion brand but a brand of exclusive style and creativity.

We Art 2024 $1,000 Scholarship Application

Selection Process

Applicants must submit a short video presenting their talent along with an essay on the topic “Why I’m passionate about my career”.  The essay must be 3-5 pages in length with a format 12-point Times New Roman font and Double Space (no single spacing anywhere and no extra spacing anywhere.)Projects must be filmed and posted via social media with our brand tag #WeArtScholar and @weartnpo. The video must be 1  to 5 minutes maximum long and posted on ONE of the following platforms until Sunday, August 4, 2024; Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok, )

Scholarship Criteria

  • Must be located in the United States of America

  • Must apply to a school in the State of Georgia

  • Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application - 25 years of age

  • Applicants must attend or plan to attend a two-year or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school.

Evaluation Criteria 250 credit

  • 75% Creativity

  • 35% Writing ability

  • 50% Originality

  • 45% Performance

  • 30% Details

  • 15% Following instructions

Select ONE Project

  • Makeup Artist:

    Present a special effects makeup tutorial. Include full detail of what products you used to your favorite product and why.

(this look does NOT need to be scary; get creative !)

  • Nail Technician:

    Present a unique set of nails using a special technique  

  • Hair Stylist/Barber:

    Present a creative hairstyle or haircut using either a live model or mannequin (nothing basic!)

  • Esthetician:

    Present a 3 part skincare routine. (morning, spa day, night time) Include full details of what products you used to your favorite ingredients and why. 

  • Fashion Designer/Wardrobe Stylist:

    Create a style or a look WITHOUT using fabric.

  • Model:

    Present a “Model Diary” Day in the Life Episode. This is a short film of a full day (or week) as a model. You may choose from the categories: Runway, Brand Deal Shoot, or Campaign.

FAQ for We Art Scholars

  • Applicants who attend or plan to attend a two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school and meet the following requirement are eligible:

    Must be located in the United States of America

    Must apply to a school in the State of Georgia

    Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application - 25 years of age

  • You do NOT have to be currently enrolled in a school within the State of Georgia, but you must show evidence from an accredited institution that you will be enrolling. If you choose to use the grant for your business you must show that the scholarship support you seek will be applied there.

  • The We Art Scholar applications begin on January 3rd and end on the first Saturday of August at 11:59 pm est.

  • Ambition, purpose, innovation, and quality are some of the main factors we take into consideration when determining your candidacy for the scholarship. Our typical scholarship recipients demonstrate resiliency in dedication, creativity, and authenticity with a GPA between 2.0 and 3.0. Students with GPAs above this range are still encouraged to apply.

  • If you meet the requirements listed, YES you are eligible to apply.

  • Applicants must have a GED or Highschool Diploma or be in the process of obtaining a GED or Highschool Diploma at the time of the We Art Scholar application submission.

Winter Wonder-Flawless Production

Winter Wonder-Flawless Production is a fashion show curated by Fashion Designer and Creative Director LaQuoshia Boyce. WWFP highlights talented artists to showcase their art amongst new faces and potential buyers. LaQuoshia is the Founder of the LBoyce Brand, providing Southern Glam with a Paris Mentality. Winter Wonder Flawless is the We Art Corporation's BIGGEST fundraiser event, hosted each year in December.
